August 26, 2005- Rehearsal Dinner in Formia
Our friend Italo helped to arrange a fantastic evening in Formia for family and friends. Although the only part we rehearsed for Saturday was drinking wine!
August 25, 2005- The Wedding Weekend begins
We arrived in Italy early Wednesday morning for our Wedding. The festivities began Thursday night as friends and family began to arrive to Pignataro. A fun night of wonderful food, wine, and music.

Our First Trip to Italia together- June, 2005
To plan for our wedding in August, we took a week long trip in June. We were able to surprise Piero's niece and god daughter, Beatrice, for her First Holy Communion. Here are pictures of us in Rome and a view of Monte Cassino from Rocca d'Evandro- where we are getting married.
Off to celebrate our engagement in Puerto Rico
Off to Puerto Rico in March to celebrate our engagement. We had a beautiful, relaxing time. The only 'bump' was on Piero's head. A coconut fell while I was shooting the attached picture. No Keith Richard-like injuries were sustained.

We're Engaged- February 15, 2005
Heather spent the weekend visiting her brother Garrett (aka G) in Arizona and flew back on Valentine's day. As we missed the holiday together, Piero planned a cozy dinner at his place on the 15th. Piero set the table as if at a restaurant with the beautiful view of the city's skyline as a backdrop. After a delicious meal, Heather retired to the couch to watch Law and Order in a relative food coma. Heather never being one to NEVER turn down chocolate was enticed to join Piero back in the kitchen with a beautiful box from Maison du Chocolat. As she opened the box, in side were beautiful chocloate cakes, red roses, and in one of the roses was a sparkling diamond ring. Down on one knee, Piero asked Heather to be his bride.

It's Not Just Football, it's STEELER Football
Incidentally, Heather was born and raised in Pittsburgh while Piero has been a lifelong Steelers fan. In October 2004, our good friends Lester & Becky treated Piero to his first Steeler game in the 'burgh.
Piero began the weekend by showing his NYC prowess by hijacking the Bus- no not Bettis, an actual bus (pictured here).

September 2004- Meet the Fockers- I mean, Wallace's
September arrived and it was time to meet the parents. Ron put Piero to the test by shutting off all the water for the weekend to test his survival skills (kidding! there was a water main break- no water, all weekend!)
What better reason to trek South to the 'burgh than to watch the Mets play the Pirates at PNC Park.
Luckily, it was also Phunxatawny (Sp?) Community day at the ballpark. The groundhog through out the first pitch and, Phil saw his shadow which in September is an outlook for a long and happy relationship!

The Hamptons, Summer 2004- Our 1st Summer
We met in December 2003, in Public- literally-, in "Public"- a restaurant/bar in Manhattan. That night Heather lost her glass slipper and Piero brought it to her door in Brooklyn- the rest, is history.....
This post is from our first Summer together. Heather & Tiia had a summer house in Sag Harbor. Biking to the beach, visiting the vineyards, and having dinner and cocktails at our favorite place- Sunset Beach on Shelter Island.
